The smaller radiator should be for the A/C system.
Very few manual transmissions use a cooler.
The pump in the tail shaft doesnt produce enough pressure to move the lubricant through the cooling system. Manuals are cooled and lubricated by the splash method, lubrication is sprayed and/or splashed on the rotating parts by being pumped to the top of the inside of the trans.
Some high end manual racing trans and manual heavy equiptment trans use coolers that are usually pressured by an external pump.
Manual transmissions dont generate the amount of heat that an automatic does, the fluid in an automatic trans in addition to lubricating is also the driving force of the trans and as such it generates a lot of friction.
Fluid in a manual trans basically only lubricates the internals.
