My 05 GMC 2500HD died this morning. Has run fine since new. Towed a small utility trailer home yesterday, and left it plugged into the truck overnight. Today I disconnected the trailer and go to start the truck, and nothing happens. Lights, radio, etc work, but nothing from the starter. Charged the battery, and it is showing as good. Anyone have ideas?

do you hear a click at all when you turn the key?? try tapping the starter with a wrench sometimes a little rust will build up and cause a bad connection.. tap it while someone else tries to start the truck or just tap it a few times and then try to start it... I have had this work on a couple different occasions... if not you may just have a bad starter

No click at all. I have the security light on the dash lit. Also the dash lights will not shut off on their own. Remote will not lock or unlock the doors. Going to call the dealer in the morning.
