So let me start off I know its not a truck but this forum looks a little more active than the one I posted in.
So like the title says. I have a 2007 Chevy Uplander, a few days ago I installed a dash cam tapped in to rear wiper fuse for acc power and grabbed 12v+ from an empty spot that had power all the time. Ran wires to mirror and plugged everything up. Had to remove RAPS fuse and another #29 & 30.
So the day after my key is not working 100% of the time now, I have to turn off and on pull out repeat, it might work mostly don't, but my remote start works 100% of the time it's how I have to start the vehicle, put my key in turn it on everything works like it should. Turn it off and most the time I can start it back up with the key. So I don't know what could be the problem I don't want to change the ignition switch and it still don't work.
Update as I was writing this I went and changed the location for the 12v+ wire for the cam and I did get it to start with key multiple times.
