Does anyone have a link to a YouTube video on replacing the alternator on this vehicle? Has anyone done it?

I assume you are asking about the 4 cylinder equinox. Correct? If so the procedure is to:
1. disconnect the neg battery cable.
2. remove the drive belt.
3. disconnect positive cable from alternator (nut)
4. remove 3 bolts holding the alternator to the block.

Reverse procedure to install. The alt nut torque is 15 foot pounds and the 3 bolts are 16 foot pounds.

You make it sound so easy.
Remove the air cleaner assembly and the motor mount and replace the serpentine belt since there's 100k on the vehicle, correct?

100 k is just getting broken in..... :) Nothing is as easy as it used to be since the advent of these electronic wonders. Since the battery needs to be disconnected too ya never know if the on board computers will be out of sync when powered back up. I have in the past disc/reconnect a couple of time for them to align their 0's and 1's.
