Hi all, I'm new here, and to chevy for that matter(just bought an 08 1500). Always been a f150 guy, but really liked this new body style of chevy.

I've done a lot of searching and cant find anyone running 15 or 16 inch wheels, is there a reason? I personally like the look of more rubber. I wanted to level my truck and try to run 32 x 11.5 x 15s or 16s

Thanks in advance

The Smallest Diameter Rim that will fit on the 2008" and up NNBS Trucks is a 17in" Rim.....and the reason is due to Clearance the of the Front Brake Caliper's.

I believe its due to the size of the stock brakes that you can't fit a rim smaller than 17". The pre-2007 trucks came stock w/ 16's.

X2...i have heard that its possible to squeeze a 16" on it if you take grinder to the caliper, dont hold me to that. Tho it may be worthwhile lookin into if you like that look

x2. I agree with you though I like the larger tire and smaller rim. I have an 04 so 16 is what is on mine (and wont fit 15). even with the stock 16's every once in a while when I have my tires balanced they put the stick on weights and if not in the right spot they will hit the caliper so that is the limiting factor.
Vincenees has a good suggestion to get bigger meat on there with the 17's
