Hi:Tried out two Yukons recently. One had 17" tires and the other 20".What are the pros and cons of each type?I found the 17" tires had a smoother ride. How would each type be in snow and ice? There's a price difference of $2400 between them.Any help appreciated.

Welcome to the club. I think the 17" would be better in snow and ice and the overall ride is better than the 20". Go price a 17" and 20" tire. Make your choice then.

I think that the 20's would look better for the Yukon, but if you do drive through snow and ice often you could buy a winter rim and tire setup and then have the 20's for the summer :glasses:

ChromeSilver02 offers a good solution if you can afford it. If not, then the 17" are going to be better in the snow. I faced this same dilemma and decided to go with aftermarket 17" wheels and larger tires than the stock set.
