I'm trying to remove the AC bracket which is on the passenger side. I've got all the bolts off except one stud, I removed the nut but the stud has a external torque's head. My experience with this type of drive is they strip easily. It's in a recess on the bracket and if it strips I'm screwed. Anybody have idea's on removing the stud?

Are you trying to save it?
If not try using vice grips on the exposed threaded part.
Be careful it will break. A couple of tightening taps from a hammer, then a couple of taps to loosen may get it started.

Hit it wit Kroil or PB Blaster and leave it for several hours. Then tap on it a few times like the previous reply suggested. then be sure you’re not using a torx bit that’s one size too small; that happens quite a bit. (no pun intended!)
