Hi all,

I’m currently installing a CB radio in my 1994 C1500, and I need to wire the coax antenna cables through the firewall. Are there any preexisting holes or grommets that I could piggyback off of, or would I need to drill a hole? I want to do as little collateral damage as possible.

Thanks,
Dave

Howdy and Welcome, Dave. Yes, there’s at least one or two up near the brake booster. Pull the insulation back from against the firewall and you should see the grommets. If I recall correctly, there’s another one near where the stock radio antenna leaves the cab. It might dive into the fender without getting into the engine bay. I’ll get some pictures.

Near the accelerator cable, or around the brake booster.
