1999 4wd trans shutter

It has the 350 engine. As stated the transmission is shuttering under acceleration and when maintaining speed on incline. As much as I hate to hear that I have detrimental issues, it's an answer I must seek...

Burban Man,
If you're fairly sure it's coming from the tranny I'd start with a fluid/filter change, especially if it hasn't been done in a while. I was having shuddering on my 93 Lincoln Town Car this spring and a fluid drain and filter did the trick. I did add a quart of Lucas Transmission treatment (extra thick tranny fluid). On a side note, the Town Car has a torque converter drain plug, which is a great because you can change out 95% of the fluid, vs the suburban which leaves all that fluid in the torque converter.
Good luck from a fellow Coloradan and 99 burb owner!
I'll give that a shot. From Denver I see? I'll have to stop in and say high when I'm up there next!
Love the neo pic btw! I wore those movies out when my got them on DVD for Christmas! Lol
The first Matrix movie is my all-time favorite film. Something about the story line just speaks to the soul of a man. The sense that we need to wake up to our true identity and we are more powerful than we've been told. The opening sequence with Trinity is AWESOME. Dang, now I'm going to have to watch that again tonight!

Oh, you may want to consider adding a drain plug, or finding an aftermarket tranny pan that has a built in drain plug. I wish I would've done that to my Suburban when I changed the fluid last year because it is a MESS dropping that pan.
I'm sure it's just as bad as a 700r4
It is and its a pain. And I'm sure you already know this, but check that magneto inside the pan. If it's got tiny bits of silver.. well you know what that means.
:( god I hope not, cause I don't have the money for a trans
