[Quad racer#212]

I have a 99 s10 with a nv1500 in it. The trans has a bearing going out. A friend of mine has a nv1500 for $400. will any nv1500 work? Will it matter what rear axel gear is in my truck for the speed to correct . Are all of the nv1500 geared the same?

if you get one from another S10 it's probably geared the same, $400 seems steep for a used one
