Hello, just joined and I am having issues with my 2000 k2500 with a 7.4. The idle hovers around 700rpm and then drops to 450rpm and almost dies and the goes back up to 700 for about 10 seconds and then we do it all over again. Problem 2 is loss of power when towing travel trailer. It doesn’t seem to want to pull uphill very well at all. It will downshift and rev up to about 4k rpm but not go over 40mph on a mediocre incline. I have changed MAF, TPS, IAC, MAP, EGR, fuel filter, fuel pump Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Check the vacuum, I'd be looking for a vacuum leak.

No prob, the best check is a vacuum gauge, should read 16 pounds at idle.

I was thinking of broken/rotting hoses, there isn't as many as there use to be.
