Just purchased a 2000 Sliverado Extended cab.
Am looking to upgrade the stock radio to something more modern.
Have looked at Crutchfield and all the units I like, Crutchfield states: Video receivers with flip-out monitors may not work in this vehicle because of the configuration of the factory dash.
Has anyone out there modified their dash for one of these units to work ?
If so, what did you buy

Thanks

any other question just ask.
i have owned a 89 chevy ext cab 1500, a 95 chevy 2500 extended cab, 97 gmc single cab, 2001 silverado 1500 hd crew, and a 06 silverado crew 1500.
i have done stereo installs in all but the 89 but i did install in my friends 88 so i have covered all of the models from 88 to now.
