yes is does my friend had a 2001 2500 with the lb7 duramax and it had abs and I looked at a 2001 crew cab 8.1 and it had abs

Airbags may be another story.... I had a 2000 2500 with 8700gvw rating and it did have abs, but had no airbags.

I don't know of any domestic truck with factory airbags. Well not counting semi rigs.

Yep, the safety kind..... what is more embarrassing for me is that I owned the truck over a full year before I realized that it had no drivers side air bag.... dohhhh..
