Hey all, Have a 2001 Suburban and a couple of days ago while coming back from stockton, the burb just sputtered out while on the road. It will not start now. turns over fine and tries to start but then dies right away. Its got 300k on it and I have a feeling its the fuel pump. However, I know there maybe other issues. Can someone let me know if they think it may be something else? thanks much.

I would do a fuel pressure test before you waste the $400 or more for a fuel pump module.

Be sure to check your fuel pump relay as well, could also be the fuel pressure regulator. but as murdog says check the fuel pressure first then find out where it went, spark next, then timing.
