I am about to install a brake controller on a 2002 Sonoma that I have just purchased. I know they do not come with a "plug and play" adapter from the factory but I was wondering what this connector plug is for.

Did the previous owner install it or is it factory installed for another application.

In the meantime I am searching for the brake pedal wire so that I can tap into it manually.

Does anyone have any idea where it is? I can't seem to see any wires at all.

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you

that's your OBDII connector. Nothing to do with a brake controller.... You may have to tap into the wires manually to wire it up. Follow the directions that came with the brake controller and it should be relativley simple. Your vehicle may also have a plun-n'-play harness available to wire it up, but I'm not sure...
