I have a 2005 Chevy trailblazer, and every time after starting it makes a whirring noise for like 5 seconds. It doesn't sound bad, just sounds. It is like a little fan starting up. It lasts for like 5 seconds then stops. Is this normal?

I'm guessing it's the radiator fan clutch.
Lift the hood, get someone to start the truck and see if the noise is from the area just behind the radiator. Be careful, the fan can hurt

Ok, will do. Much appreciated!! Is this necessary to replace? Like I said, it doesn't sound bad. It almost sounds like a little cooling fan on a computer, but louder.
