I have the stock HID headlights - low beams don't really light up the road well. Cleared the lens and aimed to NH legal specs. I've read a lot of the discussions, but most of it only confuses me more given the wide variety of stock to custom paths you all have taken.

1.) What upgrades are available to me in either a bulb or new? (Does moving from 9005 to 9011 help actual light output for the given pattern?

2.) Does the wiring change from two hi beams to all four make a real difference?

Thanks!

If you pull the Multi-Switch stalk towards you it will light up all four as long as you pull it back. AKA flash to pass. That's what the all four mod does.

It sounds like your lights have slowly deteriorated till you finally noticed it. First restore the lens with one of the aftermarket kits. Sometimes that makes all the difference in the world.

Hi Ted...Thanks for the advice. I did clean up the headlight lens; from a YouTube video on restoring and clear-coating. A bit of work to do, but did clean up nicely - only marginally brighter though.

So you recommend the wiring of all lights to go on for high beam?
