Howdy all. Newbie member here, and this is my 1st post. My better half and I just traded for a 2006 Silverado 1500 (our 1st Chevy truck) yesterday, and I have a question(s). Is there an online guide for deciphering the VIN?? I need to figure out a couple of options, and the option level. I know that it is an LT, but not which level of LT (1, 2, or 3). Also, which 5.3 engine (I do know it's not the multifuel version), and which rear axle ratio that I have (I do have the towing package). Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

Edited to add: Forgot to add that I'm also the original owner of a 69 Camaro - 95% original, except that I've had it painted (lacquer as original) in 98-99. Plain jane, 327, powerslide, a/c, ps. Trophy in every show I've put it in. App. 85,000 original miles. Lemans Blue. When I learn how to post a pic, I'll post one of the car & truck.
