First time that i've ever heard of it. What did they have to say about it? They swapped it out for you?

LOL, The dealership really didn't know anything. GM sent them the molding and the VIN numbers of the vehicles it affected. They called me to set up an appointment for the work. I called a closer dealershiip (where I'm having the vehicle serviced) to see if they would do the work. Their response was "Sure", but we have never heard of that program. Since they have never heard of the program (and can't find any imfo on it), they will not do the work under a recall/warranty claim.

I'll probably deal with the inconvenience and take the TB back to the original dealer and have the work done.

I wonder if it's their way of getting around a recall. Maybe they had a guy that was drunk and only worked on a certain number of trims on a select number of VINs? :)
