I just bought this truck. During the test drive up to 60 mph everything was fine....
At highway speeds above 70 mph there is sound (like rain on the windshield) coming from the headliner. As the speed increases the raining sound gets louder....
I suspect it is the roof flexing and hitting the headliner....
Anyone else have this problem more important have a DIY cure??
Thanks
Rich

I took off the bug deflector and it seemed to be the trick....
I will put it on again and see if the noise comes back.

It seems odd that changing the air fow could result in such a change!

get some weather proof double sided tape, the rubber molding on the out side windshield is being lifted up and down from the air off the bug deflecter, sounds stupid i know but i had this same problem, run the tape between the molding an the windshield down both sides an problem will be gone, make sure u push the tape in far enough so it cant be seen, some people say use clear caulk , but i found double sided tape less messy
