First off, want to say hello. Glad to have found this forum, plenty of interesting reading.

I purchased a used 07 Suburban 2500 4WD and I want to change the 16" wheels and tires. Does anyone know if 20" rims with a tire size of about 285/55 R20 will rub at all??

Thank you for any input, most of the online fitment calculators for the tire dealers indicate only 16" rims for my specific vehicle. I dont want to purchase anything until I am sure it will work, for obvious reasons, lol.

Thanks for the heads up. I put the 285 55 r20's on and they rub. I couldnt go 275 because they dont make one that is 10ply. I am going to trim back the portion that is rubbing, I think that will fix the problem.

I have 20x10 rims with 305/50-20 Nitto Terra Grappler on mine and had to "adjust" the wheel well a bit....
