I would also recommend contacting your local dealership for more information regarding this upgrade. They shoudl be able to assist you in letting you know if this is something that can be done and if it is a simple plug and play. Please keep us posted. Thank you in advance.

From what I've seen of this upgrade, it would probably take less than 30 minutes and could be done with a couple of basic hand tools (screwdrivers mainly). It's plug and play.

Thanks for the info! Now the big question: How head is it to install? Is this something I would want the dealer to do?
Here is a copy of a post I took off the link I provided above....this should cover all your questions but if not, go back to that link and read it though.

Good Luck!!

It's plug and play, just pull the panel off, unhook two clips ... put the new panel on and plug back in.

If you wanted to do a race, you could do it in maybe 90 seconds with no tools.
By hand, gently remove the dash trim piece that is left of the steering wheel.
Remove the light control switch and dimmer switch, they are just held in with clips.
There are two unused cables connected to the back of the trim piece, these are the ones you will be using for your DIC controller.
Plug the clips into the DIC module in your new panel.
That's it, you're done.
