This is an embarrassing question. We bought this Suburban new. Has 181,000 miles.

it makes a sound like it is rubbing the fender well when turning hard to the right. It has been this way since day one. Thought the tire was rubbing. Have had no frontend issues.

What is likely the noise?

It should have been addressed under warranty. Etc. I get it. It’s only if we turn all the way to the right. So does not happen very often

thanks

My :09 lost/broke one of the plastic bolts that holds the inner fender liner in place, if I backed up and turned the wheel hard the liner would catch the tire and I'd get a rubbing sound.

Mine was the passenger side and it would only catch when I turned hard right and I had to be backing up.

I could tell that the sound was coming from the front right corner, can you tell where yours is coming from?

I assume you need to be moving for it to happen.

If it is rubbing, you should see a little wear along the bottom edge of the fender liner.

Can you tell where the noise is coming from?

Have someone stand outside while you drive close and turn.
