The rear hatch will not unlatch or open, even manually on my 2011 Suburban with the electric latch/lift rear hatch. Any ideas? oh, it's also -2 degrees here....

Assume the battery is okay and fully charged? Does the key turn in the lock? Or is that frozen up? Possibly try a hair dryer over the latch / lock area?

When you say manually, are you saying you are using the access hole to manually open the gate?
If not, there should be an access hole on the inside of the gate. On my last truck, it was round, about 2", near the bottom center of the gate. The plastic cover should pop off.

There is no access hole or key. It only opens with the power latch. You can lift it manually if the latch works.

I know there is no key hole, I'm inside the truck, at the bottom of the gate. About where you might expect to find the key hole on the outside.
