I'm curious to know what the dealer has told you about this
Yes I am. I posted belowBrand new with less than 2600 miles and the Radio has completely powered down and back on on it's own at least 6 times now. It happens while city driving or interstate driving. Wondering if anyone else with a new truck is experiencing the same thing or has heard of this occurring!
I have a 2020 Trail Boss where the radio volume knob has a delay and Bluetooth Apple CarPlay is suspect. Touch screen acts funny as wella friend has a 2019 with radio issuses , i believe like yours , they are on 3rd or 4th radio now and still messing up , dealer keeps changing it but no fix so far
My son has a 2020 Trail Boss and his radio does the same. The dealership has replaced the radio and the USB port and it still does it. His truck has been to the dealership four times now and it is still not fixed. We can't seem to get anywhere with Chevrolet. This truck is a piece of ****!Brand new with less than 2600 miles and the Radio has completely powered down and back on on it's own at least 6 times now. It's been 15 days now and my brand new RST Chevy pick up is still setting at the dealership. On Friday 9/11/20 5:30 pm my salesmen drove my new truck to the front of the dealership to show me all the new feathers of the truck. I sat down in the drivers seat and my salesmen said start the truck, so I did and to both of our surprise the radio was blank (Black Screen). The salesmen didn't know what to say! He ran the truck back into the service area and a tech tried to get it to work with no luck! The salesmen then ask me to drive it home and bring it back first thing in the morning. At this point in time the truck only had 5 miles on it! I agreed to take it home and come back. Saturday morning a tech took the truck back to his station and tried for six hours along with with a tech from GM Tech center that was on the phone with him. The salesmen came to me after six hours and said they couldn't fix it and a tech from GM Tech center would be coming Monday morning to fix it. Well he did get it going Monday. The truck sat at the dealership all that week and the salesmen would go out and start the truck and it always worked. I returned on Wednesday the fowling week to take delivery of the truck, Guess what, Black Screen. At that point I told them that I don't want that truck and to find me another one and they agreed. Now after five days they are telling me they can't find another truck. I don't believe them! They told me that they will put a new unit in the truck and give me a written guarantee that if it has a problem with Black Screen again they will find me a new truck. I don't know if I should trust them!Brand new with less than 2600 miles and the Radio has completely powered down and back on on it's own at least 6 times now. Literally going through the same issues. Bought the truck with 50 miles on it, They've had it in the shop 6 times now for screen going black, audio issues. Has done it at least 20x. Such a nightmare. No luck in getting the problem resolved so far.Brand new with less than 2600 miles and the Radio has completely powered down and back on on it's own at least 6 times now. We are experiencing the same since June. Such a messHaving serious issues since I bought truck brand new May 13. Left dealership with 65 Miles and hasn't worked right yet. I am taking it tomorrow for the 4 th time to the dealership to try to rectify. 1st time they diagnosed and reloaded software, worked for couple days and started acting up again, 2 ND time diagnosed with gm engineer on the phone with them, the engineer didn't like how it was responding to the attempts to down load so they replaced the radio, 10 days later I took in again and the replaced the touchscreen, it's acting now worse than ever so June 21 will be 4 th visit to dealership to try to figure it out. It powers itself on and off, audio mutes itself, changes station itself, doesn't sync up with proper song playing vs what's displayed on the screen, touchscreen inconsistently works.
