I've got a 97 silverado with a 3 inch add a leaf suspension lift, i was wondering if there is any way to strenghthen the rear end for pulling loads, etc

with an add a leaf it is really likely to squat when under a load. The only way you could strengthen it would be to get a 3 inch lift leaf pack instead.

Air bags? That would be my best guess, you would have to do alittle manufacturing to make them fit to the extra 3" of lift.

this is what i use and alot of my friends that tow campers http://www.supersprings.com/ for 1500 and 2500 trucks you may need to call them for the correct part number
