WOW thats friggin insane. I can well imagine the cost.
That is the biggest waste of time and money I've ever seen. Why a quarter? How about a penny?

30s are rediculously huge...but then again, people said that when 20s came out...

Oh, its a 1973 Impala. I also have a 1964 Impala SS that I am going to restore, I just havent got the time to start on it.
I don't care how big the rims are as long as you've got some decent meat around them. I'll never understand how people can go with huge rims on trucks and be afraid to hit bump. Just not my thing.
i would really like to know where u got those rims
its a cool idea for a SHOW car....
you couldent give me those rims tho...

theres a lift nyc cab here on si with i think 26 or somthing big like that...

friend of mine has 28 on his esclade and the ride is horrable... he hates the rims..

I agree, that is REDICLIOUS!!! That is so wasteful, and not pratical!
I'd be scared one of my kids would climb in the rim and get lost.

In this world there are some things that there is just no need for. That is one of them.
LoL to each his own people. That stuff is good for show. Hell, donks are just as extreme as some of the choppers people build. Nobody talks about them though. It may not be practical (just like the choppers) but it's what the owner wanted. Quit hatin' (for those of you who actually are hating).
90% of tire places can't mount tires on wheels bigger than 24's. A guy in town has 26's on a Lincoln Mark II and he he had drive to New Jersey to get his tires mounted. The tires were like a grand a piece as well. To each his own but I'm perfectly happy with my black 15 inch steelies. :glasses:
fyi i just picked up my truck from an aftermarket place getting a remote starter installed (i know, i know, i coulda done it myself, but hey, i'm lazy) and the shop had in a set of 30 inch giovanni's. i asked the guy how much just for kicks. he said it was 20k for the set.

better start saving now...
OOOHHHH I want spinners on that. Not really.
Oh wow 20k for some rims? Psh... bump that.

I never will understand the huge wheel thing. to each his own tho. My 15" cragar soft 8's on my jeep were 38.95 a piece out of summit racing
