350 V8 Mods

I just bought a 1995 Cheyenne, 4wd , 350 v-8 , and a year before the vortech came out. It only has 200hp-but 310 lbs of torque.I am thinking a 383 stoker when the engine needs rebuilt. Headers , intake, all of the goodies. How much capibillities does this beast have now? I am going to add an external tranny cooler shortly. I think that would be a start.
