This is my first post here.
I have a custom vehicle with an aftermarket Billet Specialties dipstick.
The transmission is a 4L70E With a Stock Pan.
The engine is an LS2.
Due to this custom Fluid dipstick, I don’t trust my fluid level. I believe the trans fluid is low, but paranoid about overfilling.
When I put this car into gear with the brake depressed, it lurches forward. I believe the fluid is low.
Advice?
If I drop the transmission pan, I thought I could measure the number of Quarts that drain out.
It should be 6 Quarts. Obviously, If less than I will add more.
This aftermarket dipstick tells me the fluid level is OK.
I’m skeptical.
Thank You
