Hi Guys,
my 03 TB was in 4 hi the other day. all was ok till I turned into a parking lot. Felt like front end was locking up and when I stopped to disengage it.It made a loud clucking noise back to 2hi. Anybody felt that??

My Suburban does that if I am on dry pavement. It usually makes an audible clunk when I go back to 2wd stopped or moving very slow as well. I haven't noticed the clunk when at speed.

re:4x4 clunk

ya your right there was snow where I was and then drove into an area that had no snow. So yes I was driving on dry pavement.
Well I guess in 4x4 I should just drive in a straight line ha ha ha
Thanks guys appreciate the posts

Don't try backing up in 4Hi, with a locking differential option either...
I never stopped to think about it until I tried it and went nowhere.
