Bought this just a month or so ago. First rain found out the left rear brake locks on slick surfaces. Tore down to look, brake shoe linings cracked so replaced. During this I noticed that the rear brakes didn't have the brake bar and spring in them that I'm used to seeing on pretty much everything I've ever worked on before. The only thing different is this one has the bigger brake shoes, the 11.34x2.75. The only listing I can find for the brake var says that it's for the 11.15" brakes, so my question would be, does anyone know if this setup might NOT use the bar? I really don't see how it wouldn't, and the brakes are still hanging up a little when you release the pedal, you can feel and hear the shoes "shift", and the emergency brake doesn't hold for squat either. Can't find a schematic that's specific to this setup online, just general pics that show the bar and spring running between the front and rear shoes.

I have a buddy who has an old Blazer stuck back in the woods, I may have to see if I can yank the drums off it and take a look at it. I can get the bars but have yet to find a source for the little square springs that I remember had to go on the end and will have to scrounge up a few other parts as well to make it right. I was just thrown off by the specs on the brake bars saying that they were for the 11.15 brake shoes, just wondering if they would work on the larger setup as well. Brakes aren't something that I like "kinda" putting together.
