I am trying to locate an AM/FM radio for my 1988 Chevy 1500.

I am in Nebraska. The Delco would be good. It came with AM only and the reception sucks. But this is a square radio so I can't put in any old after market radio.

Oh you most certainly can put in after market if you prefer. There is an after market kit cheap for these now. I had an 89 1/2 ton and I just went to good stereo shop and bought the relocation kit. Wiring harness and dash/ vent kit, no cutting wires either. If you have some sockets a philips screw driver and 2 fingers your done...otherwise the wrecking yard is full of stock AM/FM stereo's I was in one today up here in Canada.
I would imagine Nebraska has its share of wreckin' yards...:lol:

go to www.lmctruck.com they have every single replacement part for all GM trucks and even the radio's. they are cheep too so you can find one their..hope it helps
