The key won't turn back, so I have to put it foward and drain my battery even more. What's up with this?
New keys will be fine, and less expensive as well.I figured that was the case. The dumbass I bought the truck from had two sets of the most worn keys I've ever seen. Should I just replace the locks or will new keys be adequate?
It does have a tilt wheel. I'll have to try that too. How do i find out what key I need to have cut?Does this vehicle have a tilt wheel?
I ask because I had a similar problem with our 79 plow truck. The tilt wheel just flopped in the breeze.
My problem was a broken column after years of jumping in the truck holding onto the wheel.
But it can be something as simple as moving the wheel, column up and down while turning the key.
Drive it to a locksmith's shop. Tell them you lost the keys and you need to have new keys made. Sit back and see how long it takes them to figure it out...:lol:It does have a tilt wheel. I'll have to try that too. How do i find out what key I need to have cut?
