check the distributer, cap and rotor... pull a spark plug first... bet its soaked. my money is on the dist. I would change all that stuff if it hasnt been done in a while... check for vents in dist cap housing and make sure they are there and not clogged. if they are not there drill a couple so it can breath and let condensation out. my money is on the dist....

good luck

Ok so pull out a plug and let it evaporate? Then take the dist cap off and check for vents? The weird thing is I was driving it all day then stop to clean it and it just wouldn't start after that

hmmmm.... thats weird if you were driving it all day... im only a backyard mechanic speaking from my experience when my truck wouldnt start... the distributer was completely corroded, I was getting tonnes of fuel it just wasnt getting an efficient spark to ignite. theres supposed to be vents in the dist. cap housing but there wasnt on mine, the vents let it breath and dry out condensation to stop it from corroding. so I dunno... I would pull a spark plug just to see how it looks, see if its soaked or not and then go from there. if you have someone around to give you a hand, check for spark while you have it out. theres alot more experienced mechanics on here who will come on and help you out im sure.

The part that drew my attention was "stop to clean".did u possibly get some water up to that dist. Cap? Guessing here but sounds like cap and rotor are in your future

Oh I understand been their, don't know where you live, but could it have created condensation, that on top of sorry, inside a older cap and rotor might of pushed it over the edge. Won't hurt to look, but if you can have the new ones with you just in case. You can take them back if you don't use them.
