Hey guys, new here.

My truck runs pretty good nost of the time. Lately having an issue with it not wanting to shift from 1st to 2nd. Especially going up a hill. Its the 4.3l 4l60e. My brother and I changed the solenoids and computer thing and put a valve thing in it. Not alot of change. I saw where others look at the mass air flow and throttle position sensors, and was wondering if that my apply in my case? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Thanks Jason!

Does your Speedo work? If not then it could be due to vss failure. Another possibility is the tps as it tells the computer when to shift. Do you have a check engine light? If there is a problem with a shift solenoid it should set a a tranny code. Check youtube for info on how to test the tps, its pretty simple.

Checked the fluid again yesterday. I was afraid I was to generous. It was a little proud of the mark but not by much. The speedo is working fine. I picked up a tps sensor pretty cheap. I'll throw it on tomorrow. Let y'all know if there's a change. Thanks for the help fella's.
