So had a 95 3500 6.5 td come in the shop yesterday and I just want to put it out there that I do not specialize in diesel but it belongs to a friend of mine so I'm just trying to help him out. Now here is what's happening when you start it up after letting it sit for an hour or two it will stall after 30 seconds or so it will usually start right back up but a couple of times it took a while to start to me it seems like air in the system he has already put a new lift pump new filter new fp relay and all gp I replaced all the return hoses at the injectors on the drivers side cause 1 was leaking and can't really see the ones on the passenger side cause of the turbo also the mod for the fsd has already been done so it is not located in the factory location any ideas would be helpful

Riggs, Only time my tractor stalls is when I load it or don't supply it with the fuel it needs. But mine Is antiquated compared to what your working on. Sorry bro don't know much about em.

Easy way to check if it is sucking air, when it stalls, pull the fuel filter. If its not full, it's sucking air. If it has a water separator, check where the fittings screw into the housing.

Have you checked the fuel cap? If the vented cap is plugged, it could cause the fuel system to pull a vacuum.
