The door lock system in my 95 Tahoe trips the circuit breaker when the engine is runnig. It doesn't do it when parked and off. The breaker gets hot and trips. This would seem to indicate an ingnition short, but my Haynes manual wiring diagram shows power to the breaker and the cig lighter fuse ( invloved in the lock circuit)as being hot all the time, and not involved with the ignition switch.
