I own a 96 k1500. I seem to have broken the pin that connects the spare tire "tube" to the raise, lower pin that the jack wrench goes into. The problem is the tire is almost all the way up. So i cannot lower the tire now. There is no room to get my hand in to try to put a new pin in. Any ideas to get tire down without cutting the cable.
