The hazards in my C1500 are not working, but both turn signals do work. In playing with the hazard switch trying to get it to work, my right flasher will work if I partially depress the switch to a “sweet spot” but will turn off as soon as I release it or depress it further. Based on the symptoms, I’m thinking it might be the multifunction switch, but I would like to explore other options before taking the steering wheel off, only to find out it’s something else. Thanks in advance.

More than likely it;s your switch. My 1995 had the exact same issue and it was a bad switch. If I held it in just the right place I could get them to work a little. The contacts seem to wear out on these and cause weird issues like that. They are a bit of a pain to replace but id put my money on that switch being bad.

The last time I had a similar problem, the truck had 2 flashers, one for signals, one for 4 way flash. The 4 way flash flasher unit was faulty, replaced and problem solved.
