was working fine then just started blowing 4x4 fuse, its a push button 4x4, put new button & tc motor in but no power to tc motor.

what is the box under the dash for the 4x4 that clicks when u switch 4x4 called? I shut truck off and it was clicking rapidly and killed batt. what would cause this?
