I have a 98 suburban and the passenger side window does not work at all. I replaced the window motor and the front driver and passenger side window/door lock switches. I have inspected all of the wires inside the door all the way back to where it passes through the grommet into the interior. I removed the glove box and inspected the wires as far up as i could see from there. I could not find any damaged wires here.

Also the drivers side rear window works off of the master switch at the drivers seat but not the switch on the rear drivers side door. I have not replaced any parts here or removed the door panel yet.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

The wire harness in the door has a connector where it meets the main harness inside the vehicle. Tomorrow I plan un unplugging the harness here and checking all the wires in the door harness for continuity.

Anyone have similar issues?

I have not experienced this problem. My guess would be the switch is bad on the drivers side rear door. As for the passenger side, you have covered the major items. So that leaves you with a wiring issue. It is pretty obvious that if the switch and the motor are new than that leaves the wiring. So I think you are on the right track. You can test the connections in the harness as you trace it back from the window to the main harness under the dash. Look for any connection that might be loose or have corrosion / oxidation. You may want to get some electrical contact cleaner. If you are going to inpect them, clean them up while you are there. Good luck!

So I fixed the windows, there were two problems. For one, the wire harness connectors at pretty much every window switch were loose and not making good contact, I had to either tighten the pins or replace the connector at every window. Secondly, I found two broken wires on the drivers side, not in the door jam grommet but just before it inside the pillar. All the windows work fine now.
