Hey gang - it's been awhile.
So, after all the ice and snow here in Oklahoma, my wife noticed the Suburban leaking something.
Looks like transmission fluid - clearish and oily....
I crawled underneath and took a look, and - well... I admit I'm no mechanic.
It appears that there's somthing that goes into the bell housing - if I didn't know better I'd say it was a starter - cylinder about 10" long, no wires - and it looks like a seal is leaking where it goes into the bell housing of the transmission.
Take a look at this pic I attached...
What the heck is this?
Why is it leaking?
Is it a big deal to fix?
