99 Suburban

Got a 99 Suburban 4x4, 160K miles, runs great, no engine mods. For a "feel it in the seat of the pants" improvement, any suggestions? Computer mods? Exhaust? A little more mileage would be nice also..... Also, do I understand I can modify the trans shifting with the programmer?
Thanks!

I've got a 99 Tahoe , stainless headers , Magnaflow 2 in 2 out muffler , stainless dual pipes out the bumper , K&N filter charger , Hypertech Max progammer . Sounds tame at low speed but roars and slams you back in the seat when you nail it . Also gets much better MPGs when driven sanely . Keep your tire preasure up , use synthetic oil and other lubricants .
Programmer

Doug, can you tell me a little more about the programmer..what you can do with it and how much it helps?
Some say the most effective "feel it in your seat" modification is the differential gear ratio. What gear ratio are you currently running (see RPO codes in the glove box)?
I did all my mods one @ a time so I could see how much improvement each one gave me . The Hypertech Max allows you to adjust for gear ratios , tranny shift points , and more . Summit Racing 1-800-230-3030 , $379.00 Contact them , they can answer all your questions over the phone 24/7 They sell anything you could want for your truck and are very willing to explain how to use it .
