99 Yukon power door lock problem

Hello, I just purchased a 99 Yukon and I am having a problem with the power door locks locking and unlocking on the driver and front passenger doors. Problem is they do not open or open . The motor sounds like it is working but the buttons seem to be hanging up. Also the door locks seem to lose energy after the first time you try to open or close the locks. ??? The back doors lock and unlock ok any time you operate the switch. The front doors are giving me the problem..Has anybody had this problem????

Thanks Jesse ....So.Cal

Sounds like the "Body Controller" unit. The body controller monitors all of the possible sources of an "unlock" or "lock" signal. It monitors a radio frequency and unlocks the doors when it receives the correct digital code from the radio transmitter in your key fob, and also monitors the switches inside the car. When it receives a signal from any of these sources, it provides power to the actuator that unlocks or locks the doors.

It is located on the drivers side firewall under at the cab.
OK, I will check it..Its funny cause if I let the car sit over night and go to unlock the doors for the first time in the day all doors open. Its after that first open they do not want to open any more sometimes it will but 9 out of 10 it won't. thanks for the reply..Jesse
Jesse, did you ever fix this problem? Mine is doing the same exact thing and I can't figure it out either. Did you replace that body controller unit?
had the exact same problem on a 2000 z71. dealer replaced front door actuators which solved the problem for about a week then same old thing.

What's goin on all? I have a door lock problem, however mine is a little diffrerent. When you get in and turn the key, the doors lock right then. very annoying, considering I have had to have AAA out numerous times to unlock the car. Well, I have since had more keys made. What causes this horrible phenomenon? is it the relay perhaps? And where is the relay? Man, I would love to get this darn thing fixed. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated...
StaTTiKK,

It should lock when you put it into drive, not when you get it and turn on the key. What year Tahoe?
the tahoe is a 97 I don't know what is wreong with this thing, anyone have any suggestions?
Let me look for that year's users manual.
