Hello everyone!
Thanks for providing a nice GM truck community. Not too busy, but just enough.
My name is John and my surname on this forum is F2G.
It means Ford to GM (F2G). I always had Ford trucks, not by choice, but because Ford (and RAM) trucks were always the cheapest to buy while having a decent return price when sold in the States. In other words, it was all business, little love. LOL
However, the buying and selling era is gone (thanks pandemic), and since I needed a truck for personal use and my upcoming home renovation, my choice fell on a used 2012 Silverado 1500 LTZ 6.2L with 205K kilometers (127k miles). Not perfect, I do anticipate a few fixes here and there. For example the tailgate lock on the right side needs attention as it does not lock. However, mostly, it is all about little cosmetic defects on the front bumper (highway vehicle = deep pits).
