I have a 2001 silverado with 187,000 miles. The R-134a has leaked out. I recharge it and it only worked good for onr day, then half ass the next day. By day three there is not enough r-134a to kick on the compressor. I would like to know where the most common leaks are occouring.

If you cant see any of the freon anywhere than you will need to have it tested. A lot of places it can leak from. schraeder valves, o rings on the compressor, small hole in either the low or high pressure side.
