Anyone know what I'm talking about? I have only heard of it acouple times but can't ever seem to find one. Was wondering if anyone has one, has made one or knows where to find one?
A flip down style, where I can put 4-6 lights on it and it lays down on the roof of my cab or stands up to light up the world around me. So I guess flip down like a jeep.
I know what you're looking for, but I couldn't find it either. There used to be one out there that had a low profile base with 2 lights stored inside (flipped down), to clear the garage, etc. and then flip up to provide light.
I did find this, which is pretty cool, but looks expensive: http://www.carbodydesign.com/archive/2009/08/04-rally-fighter-lightbar-competition-winner/
Check out stuff for rally and baja lights, and see if you have any better luck than me.

That's a sweet idea. Kinda what I'm looking for besides the cover and the manual operation, I'm lazy I'd like mine to be powered. Maybe I'll build one. Thanks for that inspirational idea.

If anyone is still interested in what I was trying to get at look up LUCRUM FJ Cruiser on YouTube and that's what I'm talking about. It's an automated light bar, that company is out of business now and has been for a while.
