Idk how they compare against the recon projector's i know i have seen allot of people on here on this site that love the projectors i have along with the tailights. My headlights were probably $50 cheaper than the recons at the most. To be honest i don't like the look of the recon projectors or tailights so i went with the eagle eye lights. www.carid.com has my headlights tailights and third brake light all in all i paid around $ 850-900 for all my lights. I would assume the lighting would be the same since most projectors have the same theme and concept going on. I got some 10,00k low beams from Notto Se on the way and will look and be a good bit brighter ha hope this helps you out some man!

how do you think those lights compare against the recon projectors
If your talking about the Recon website they want twice as much for the same projectors I have!
They have a huge mark up.

I got mine form Spyder Auto in Industry City, California. I see alot of trucks around here with projectors similar to yours and wanted to stand out a little bit I guess.

So those arent projectors? I dont know if I could have paid for those..they look like a stock light with the chrome inserts painted black. There is a company in New York that takes the stock housings and retro fits them with a projector and LED's..they also paint the chrome housings black. I was going to have mine done until I saw the price...$995!

I got them virtually for free. They only cost `$180 per pair and when I had a small accident, I went with these as the OEMs were $377 each up here. I need one so I bought the pair and the insurance paid for them plus so other stuff.

The surrounds are not painted but actual gloss black plastic and i think they look a lot better than those flashy OEMs. The casting of he back and lens look exactly identical to the oem's.

I now have a spare driver OEM side assembly sitting here that I might be tempted to sell.

Nope no fogging on the black ones from DEPO, I left the DRLs stock so the headlights are on whenever the truck is running. I noticed that the HIDs are not as hot as the Halogens I had before.

Usually of you get fogging or condensation, you have problem with the seal on your housing.
