Hey theat_07classic,

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing this concern with your airbag light. I'm unable to offer technical advice, but it's good to know that you are visiting your dealer for this concern. They are in the best position to assist you and to diagnose this issue. Feel free to follow up with us after your dealership visit. If you have questions or concerns we're here to help!

It will not effect anything else. If they are not covering it under warranty then take it somewhere else. The diagnosis fee at the dealer is high. Chances are that it is just a bad impact sensor. They can be had on Amazon for $56. The dealer will charge $200 just for the part. For the $100 diagnosis fee from the dealer you would be better off ordering 2 sensors online and replacing them both now. You would spend $12 more than your diagnosis fee, but it will be fixed

Hey that_07classic,

I'm so happy everything worked out well for you! The new Cadillacs are beautiful, so I'm quite jealous you got a fully loaded one for a day. If there is anything else we can do for you, please don't hesitate to ask.
