Hi,

I recently bought a light-damaged 2008 Chevy Silverado and both driver side and passenger side Airbags are deployed. I didn't put new ones, i just used covers however the light indicator "Service Airbag" is on, how can I fix that...?

I don't know about the "light re-set", but I wouldn't want to advise anyone on how to dis-able a Safety device. That's me, but you may get some answers from some other members.

You may be better off dealing with the light until you replace the bags...to get rid of the light you be dealing with...replacing the crash sensors in the front of the vehicle ...manipulating the air bag control module....

However,

It may be worth contacting this company...not only do they sell airbags they offer programs to turn off the service light..

You will need to replace the airbags and sensors, or just cut a wire going to the light in the dash if its not an LED. In some states you wont be able to pass inspection until the light is off and there are airbags installed for saftey reasons.
